Fantasy WR rankings in early 2022

Our Fantasy WR rankings from the beginning of 2022 look ahead to the best rising, falling and falling to the deepest position of fantasy football. There are a lot of people who only play in overworked leagues who are curious about the fantasy outlook for the wide receiver next year, but those in the goalkeepers and dynasties leagues are always especially eager to get ahead.

Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill have taken the top two in each of the last two seasons, but this year they are both out of our threes because a veteran has appeared and two young broadcaster want to jump into bona fide elite status. Of course, these rankings are for overwork and age is not everything, we must remember the guys who could be the result of a decline at the end of their careers.

Players like Adams and Mike Williams could be affected by what is happening in free play, but Adams can only fall and so far Williams is not too high in our rankings. Also worth mentioning is Calvin Ridley, who could also see the change in scenery. There are also players like Chris Godwin and Michael Gallup who are heading for the open market and are following recent ACL injuries. Our pre-season charts will bring more clarity about these guys.

Chase Claypool, Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and DJ Moore are some of the WR who will surely catch passes from the new QBs next year, and it seems that their fantasy prospects can only rise on that basis. If the rumors that Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson are moving to new teams next year are true, there could be several recipients. Obviously, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would lose some value if Wilson left, so there would always be a domino effect.

2021 FANTASY: All-Value Team | All-Bust Team

Wide receivers are always hard to predict and at least a third of the people in our top 36 will disappoint. Someone will emerge out of nowhere and it will be at least WR2 middle class and at least one newcomer will make a lot of noise. This happens every season. However, we like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Darnell Mooney, Hunter Renfrow, Gabriel Davis and Elijah Moore, to bring our momentum from 2021 to next year as one of our top-notch “fragments”.

The wide receiver is deep, so it’s hard to put a rookie right away unless there’s a clear elite prospect (like Ja’Marr Chase last year), but Traylon Burks, Garrett Wilson, Jameson Williams and others could appear at our peak. 36 pre-season rankings if they end up in the right situations.
