Fantasy QB charts in early 2022

We’re fresh in the new year, so why not come and offer some early fantasy football charts? Of course, our final pre-season fantasy QB rankings in the fall of 2022 will look different than ours set too soon below. Injuries, free agency, trades, the NFL draft and simply the general off-season consensus spent researching all the imaginable statistics will make a lot of improvements, but for those of you who already lack fantasy football, it’s never a bad idea to get an idea for next season. – especially if you are in the league of goalkeepers or dynasties.

The presence of an elite rush for QBs such as Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray will always make them the best fantasy, and Trey Lance and Justin Fields could join them in this exclusive band next season. Lance and Fields have shone their jumps this season in limited sample sizes, but we like Lance better because he’s tied to top weapons and a stable organization. Expectations were always too high for Fields in the first year surrounded by a weak attack in Chicago, but we cannot overreact to his rookie campaign. He has all the tools and could be ready for the QB1 season.

On the other hand, is it time to move on with veterans Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady? And how should Joe Burrow stand up to the top scramblers after the run at the end of the season in 2021? We know that pocket passengers must have a ridiculous volume and a high TD rate to be among the elite fantasy options, and these fighters can fluctuate from year to year. That means guys like Burrow and Justin Herbert are doing just enough on the ground to power their impressive passing and big game stats.

2021 FANTASY: All-Value Team | All-Bust Team

Kirk Cousins broke the end of our top 15 list, but guys like Derek Carr, Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence could be considered in this range if their pass catchers, offensive lines and / or overall attacks are improved. In the end, you want to shoot up here, and even though Lawrence had a disastrous rookie season, it’s too early to write off, especially when a new coaching crew is heading to Jacksonville.

As always, the debate over who should be the first QB off the board will be in full force, and we think the time has come for Patrick Mahomes to be dethroned. See the upper risers, sinkers and sleepers below.
