FA Cup Round 3 Matches: How to watch and stream EPL teams playing in 2021-2022

The Premier League will take a short break to allow top aviation clubs to begin their journey in FA Cup 2021-22 to reach the final at Wembley Stadium on 14 May.

The tournament reached the third round, which is the moment when all Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition. Matches that end in a draw after 90 minutes will lead to extra time and a penalty shootout if necessary.

The complete schedule of the third round is given below. There are three matches out of 32 Premier League games: Manchester United will host Aston Villa at Old Trafford, while Leicester City will welcome Watford to King Power Stadium and West Ham will face Leeds United.

How to watch the matches of the 3rd round of the FA Cup

ESPN + will carry the entire 3rd round of the FA Cup all weekend. The ESPN streaming platform has exclusive rights to compete in the US and another English domestic cup competition, the Carabao Cup or the League Cup.

On Saturday, January 8, 32 matches contain 21 matches during the eight-hour window. The border match between Manchester United and Aston Villa closes the round on Monday, January 10.

And among all the events, there is a bonus for the fans: on Sunday, January 9, the 4th round draw will also be broadcast live at 11:50 ET, also on ESPN +.

In the third round of the FA Cup, there are 64 teams in action, most of which come from the two highest divisions of English football:

  • English Premier League (first level): 20 clubs
  • English Championship (second level): 24 clubs
  • League One (third level): 8 clubs
  • Second league (fourth level): 8 clubs
  • National League (fifth level): 3 clubs (Boreham Wood, Chesterfield, Yeovil Town)

Before the final results of the third round of the FA Cup are known, the draw for the fourth round will take place. All 16 matches for the weekend 5.-6. February will be determined.
