Arsenal’s FA Women’s Super League match on Sunday was postponed at Reading’s request due to Covid-19 cases and injuries.

The WSL schedule was interrupted this weekend by a second postponement after the postponement of Everton vs. Chelsea on Friday.

The North London Club said: “We can confirm that Sunday’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League match against Reading was postponed after the Football Association approved the Reading request.”

A reading statement said: “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to fans who plan to attend.

“The health, safety and well-being of the players, coaching teams and club staff remain paramount and we would like to wish everyone affected a speedy and complete recovery.”
