Although the Charlotte Hornets lost the match against the Orlando Magic, LaMelo Ball provided several “wow” highlights that deserved to be selected as our All-Star Moment of the Night.

Ball and his Hornets teammate Miles Bridges have been entertaining this season as they look to consolidate their first place in the playoffs since the 2015-16 season.

Ball went deep into the bag and performed his entire repertoire of moves against Magic. He demonstrated skillful ball handling skills and agility to put the Magic Defender into a rotating cycle with this movement ending in a soft bucket float.

The connection between Ball and Mason Plumle in this game below was insane. (Also notice where Plumlee has his hands when he actually catches the ball!)

And then, after all, LaMelo had to forget that he was playing in the regular season when he decided to show Miles Bridges a slam pass between the legs of a worthy All-Star.

This peak contributes to what was a period of adolescence for Ball, who played with a posture that is contrary to his age. He finished the match with a team maximum of 23 points for eight assists, four rebounds and three gains. The second-year player continues to build on what is likely to be a potential All-Star campaign this season.

The ball averages 19.3 points, 7.6 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game, which are numbers that deserve a selection of stars.
