NFL Super Wild Card Weekend Predictions: Neil Reynolds and Jeff Reinebold Select for First Round Playoffs | NFL News

The NFL playoffs are here! So it’s time to make some predictions, with Neil Reynolds and Jeff Reinebold, who struggle with it once again when they pick their games for Super Wild Card Weekend.

As well as hosting Inside The Huddle at Sky Sports NFL, every Tuesday at 9pm, Neil and Jeff release a weekly audio edition of ITH every Wednesday, in which they choose their games.

Neil won the base (175-168), although Jeff took advantage of the two-game swing to his advantage in week 18 by correctly marking the Cleveland Browns’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers over the Los Angeles Rams. Can Jeff continue to be in a good mood factor when choosing games for the opening round of the NFL playoffs?

NEIL PICKS: Bengalis

“The two teams met in Vegas in week 11 and the Bengals won with a score of 32:13.

“This will depend on what’s going on in the trenches – does Joe Burrow have time to throw Maxx Crosby and the Raiders pass rush? If so, Cincy has too much for them.”

“I choose Bengals at home. I really like the look of this team, they are star-studded in the attack.”

JEFF PICKS: Bengalis

“Someone on the Raiders will have to cover Ja’Marr Chase and the pile of receivers they have in the Bengals. And I don’t see anyone in the secondary Raiders who can do that.”

“I think Burrow could turn it on in this game. I’m taking Cincinnati.”

NEIL PICKS: Accounts

“These AFC East rivals will compete for the third time this season. The Patriots have won at Buffal 14:10, trying just three passes! But the Bills have won revenge in New England at 33:21, Jos Allen played really well.”

“Buffalo’s so scaly, they worry me, but there’s also cracks in New England’s armor – they’ve lost three of the last four – and I just feel that Buffalo has too much firepower, so I support it.” to win this. “

JEFF PICKS: Accounts

“For the same reason, I’ll marry Buffalo. Too much firepower, they’re starting to start their game, and their receivers are also recovering.”

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday, live on Sky Sports NFL, 6:00 p.m.

Can Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take it back and secure Super Bowl titles?

Can Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take it back and secure Super Bowl titles?

NEIL PICKS: Buccaneers

“The running game is Philadelphia’s formula – with Jalen Hurts on it – and they will try to play against Tom Brady and the Bucs, who are defeated. Even so, Tampa can continue in these points waves.” where they suddenly scored 35-40 points.

“It must be the Bucs at home. The Eagles are a nice story, but they lead 0: 7 against teams with a winning balance this season.”

JEFF PICKS: Buccaneers

“I agree. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni did a really good job in a difficult situation, but they run into a really good defense in Tampa Bay.”

San Francisco 49ers @ Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, live on Sky Sports NFL, 9:30 p.m.

Ambry Thomas took a key step to ensure that the San Francisco 49ers booked their place in the playoffs with a dramatic 27-24 overtime over the Los Angeles Rams.

NEIL TIPS: 49ers

“Dallas is an offensive power and is at home. But in this craziest NFL season, surely the favorites can’t win each of these playoff games?

“And the 49ers can dial a little creativity in attack, they’re also physical in the way they run football, so I encourage San Francisco to win on the road.”

JEFF PICKS: Cowboys

“I’ll be different from you here. This game is close enough that I’m happy to be able to ride with Dallas and I don’t feel like I’m just throwing darts at a wall.”

“I think it’s going to be an amazing battle between 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Here are two guys who know each other really well, they worked together in Atlanta with the Falcons.”

“I think the decisive factor will be the quarterback’s game, and if you ask me which of these two quarterbacks can impress under a pressure situation, I’ll take Dak Prescott through Jimmy Garopol.”

NEIL PICKS: Chiefs

“The Steelmen are a nice story, they’re sneaking into the playoffs – but I don’t think they’re making any noise now that they’re here. They lost to the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Boxing Day 36-10! And Kansas City probably could have scored 50 in the game. plus, it was one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from Steelers under head coach Mike Tomlin.

JEFF PICKS: Chiefs

“Pittsburgh doesn’t have enough in the secondary department to handle all the chiefs’ weapons.

“What a great story it would be if Ben Roethlisberger became Benjamin Button in this game. But I think the only noise the Steelers make in this game is the one you make when you get the football boots.”

Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams

Monday night live on Sky Sports NFL, 1:15 (Tuesday)

Will we see any Kyler Murray spell that will help the Arizona Cardinals advance to the next round of the NFL playoffs?

Will we see any Kyler Murray spell that will help the Arizona Cardinals advance to the next round of the NFL playoffs?

NEIL PICKS: Aries

“Arizona won the Los Angeles 37-20 in the fourth week – the Cardinals are actually on the way 8-1 this year, so it’s not out of phase – but the Rams won revenge in Arizona 30-23 in mid-December.” .

“The Rams lost to San Francisco in week 18, but Cards lost four of the last five and slipped in at the worst possible time.”

“I think we’ll see some moments of Kyler Murray’s magic in this, but I think the Rams will end up having too much in casual Arizona.”

JEFF PICKS: Cardinals

“If the Rams don’t go to the Super Bowl, they’ll all point to their quarterback Matthew Stafford and say he’s made too many hits. But when will someone call their defense coordinator, Raheem Morris?”

“This is an elite group of athletes in defense; Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, Leonard Floyd, Von Miller. But this defense gave up 30 and 23 in two games against the Cardinals this year and gave up a 17-point lead.” last week to a divisional rival.

“I’ll take Arizona to win.”
