Wild Cards Full-Slate FanDuel Tips: NFL DFS Lineup Tips for GPP Playoffs

We’ve finally made it to the first round of the NFL playoffs, and while our traditional DFS major tournaments are over, we have 12 teams in action during an extended round of wild cards to choose from. With so many stallions (and potential sleeps) in the playoffs, we have plenty of viable possibilities for daily fantasy football, but we have to be careful not to be too chalky. It’s true that we pay for the worst game of the weekend, but a pair of boom-or-bust WRs will give us enough variability for our FanDuel lineup.

Before we get to the lineups for this week, here are the basic rules of the FanDuel competitions. Scoring is quite standard, with only a notable setting four-point passing TD and half point PPR.

Wild Cards Full-Slate FanDuel Tips: Tip for the NFL DFS lineup

Saturday’s main event, $ 60,000 budget, maximum four players from one team

QB Matthew Stafford, Rams vs. Cardinals ($ 7,600)

The Stafford-Kupp stacks are chalk as high as we can, but we pay for the game with a high lead in this tournament. Stafford was a bit of a retreat in terms of FD production, but with one more chance to prove he can do it in the playoffs, we’ll go with him.

RB Darrel Williams, Chiefs vs. Steelers ($ 6,600)

Williams is a more explosive runner and receiver than Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) and Pittsburgh was among the worst teams against fantasy RB. Tyreek Hill (heel) is bumped and Travis Kelce was a bit inconsistent this year, so RB’s position in Kansas City has never had more opportunities to shine.

FANDUEL SINGLE ASSEMBLIES:
LV-CIN | NE-BUF | PHI-TB | SF-DAL | PIT-KC

RB Joe Mixon, Bengals vs. Raiders ($ 8,500)

The Raiders left the RBs the third most FD points during the base season and Mixon recorded at least 23.1 FD points in six of their last 11 games. Simply put, it usually breaks up favorable matches, so here’s another place we’re not afraid to spend big bucks.

WR Cooper Kupp, Rams vs. Cardinals ($ 10,000)

No one needs to be convinced that Kupp is an attractive game in any game, so let’s simplify it. His minimum is somewhere around 20 FD points, especially in the match with Arizona, which this year gave up the fourth most points in the position. The chalk is worth it because without Kupp in your lineup, it’s hard to see the way to the top spot in the tournaments.

SINGLE ASSEMBLY DRAFTKINGS:
LV-CIN | NE-BUF | PHI-TB | SF-DAL | PIT-KC

WR Van Jefferson, Rams vs. Cardinals ($ 5,700)

With clean pocket players like Matthew Stafford, it’s a smart idea to consider stacking it with two pass catchers, so that’s what we’re doing here. Jefferson and Odell Beckham Jr. are the two most viable games, but we’ll take a discount with Jefferson, who has the same top and should be less owned.

WR Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers @ Cowboys ($ 6,100)

Aiyuk has scored in double digits in six of the last eight games and this match in Dallas has the potential to shoot. Dallas is defending the top 10 against WR on FD and frankly, the price of Aiyuik seems to be terribly low, so we’re taking advantage of that.

TE Dallas Goedert, Eagles @ Buccaneers ($ 5,900)

Goedert may not have the same consistency as some of the elite tight ends in the league, but he has a similar advantage. Because this is DFS, we are not interested in a “safe” floor; we would rather have high ceilings. Most of the season, it is more expensive due to the first Eagles attack, but against the elite seven of Tampa, more volume should be fine.

Breshad Perriman, Buccaneers vs. FLEX (WR) Eagles ($ 5,200)

Perriman is your classic touchdown-or-bust option for DFS, so we’ll play with him considering that Cyril Grayson (hamstring) looks like he’s not playing. Perriman will step as fast outside of WR in the absence of Antonio Brown and Grayson.

DEF Tampa Bay Buccaneers Eagles (4,200 USD)

Tampa Bay should bother the young QB on his first start in the playoffs, and since we expect Jalen Hurts to have to be a big player here, there is a risk of sacks and turnovers.
