Who is ready for 2022?

Several national publications have published the Way Too Early Top 25 rankings for the 2022 school football season.

The consensus at the top has not changed. Alabama, Ohio State and Georgia are the top three options and are likely to be the leading players of the College Football Playoff 2022-23.

Who else could escape? Sporting News published its 25 too soon, but we also looked at other publications. We have compiled a comprehensive list using the ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, The Athletic, Yahoo Sports, 247Sports, Action Network and Athlon rankings.

We used the inverse scoring method (awarding 25 selection points 1, 24 selection points 2, up to one selection point 25) to determine the highest possible score for each school.
