Dashel Drasher will head to the Winter Million Chase in Lingfield after the merger decided against Saturday’s performance in Kempton.
The star of the stable, Jeremy Scott, the winner over the obstacles in Newbury during his last appearance, seemed ready to return to lager in the Grade Two Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase race.
But Scott has changed his mind and will instead focus on the nine-year-old at Sunday’s £ 150,000 Lingfield event.
He said: “We have decided to wait for the Lingfield race next Sunday. I believe Master Tommytucker is doing the same.
“I just felt that over two and a half (miles) this weekend, even if the ground was on the soft side, it would not be as wet as we would like.
“It could be desperate ground in Lingfield, of course, but it looks pretty dry next weekend, and we decided we’d better go there and run two or six.”
